Is Katou your real name?
No, it's not. Katou Hasegawa is my artist pen name. I chose a Japanese name because my art style is manga-like. My real name has no relation to Japan since I was born in Germany.

When did you start drawing?
I've been drawing since my childhood days and I continue it even today as a hobby. Usually, I draw on paper but I have started to draw digital as well. Currently, I have chosen to draw my outlines traditionally on paper, then scan it and color it on my PC. Personally, I prefer this method. If you want to draw something yourself, of course you are free to choose which medium you like the best.

Do you sell prints?

If you want a signature, that's no problem. Just ask me (It won't cost anything extra).

Do you take commissions?

Do you go to this con / event?

As an artist, I won't do an artist booth anymore. It's too expensive for me. But as a visitor I may go to some.
